What is Invisalign?

Invisalign is a revolutionary new way to straighten your teeth. The clear, custom-fit trays make it easy for patients of all ages and mentalities alike because no metal brackets or wires are sticking out from behind their heads! Most treatments only take about one year so you can get back on track with life during that period without any interruption. Invisible Aligners have made Orthodontics more advanced than ever before by removing everything except what's necessary.

Who Can Benefit From Invisalign:

  • Kids Invisalign:

Created for orthodontic issues involving deciduous teeth and designed to fit a child’s developing jawline and gradually enlarge it.

  • Teen Invisalign:

Perfect for self-conscious teens that still have teeth erupting, and thus need aligner tabs removed so teeth can grow in.

  • Adult Invisalign:

The perfect option for adults that are looking for a cleaner and more lowkey appearance while still allowing the correction of their smile to be working without others noticing.

The Importance of Fixing Crooked Teeth:

Teeth that are not in alignment are much more difficult to clean properly, and as a result, plaque and tartar can build up more quickly. This can lead to gum disease, tooth decay, and eventually tooth loss. In addition, misaligned teeth can place unnatural stress on the jaw, leading to joint problems and chronic pain. If you are considering straightening your teeth, be sure to discuss all of the potential benefits with Sones Family Dental.

How Long Does The Invisalign Process Take?

The treatment process for Invisalign can take anywhere from 12 to 18 months on average. It is important to note that the length of treatment depends on many factors, including how complex your case is.

Once the treatment plan is finalized, you will be given your custom aligners. You will need to wear your aligners for 20 to 22 hours a day, and you will need to visit your orthodontist every 4 to 6 weeks for check-ups.
