If you’re a parent that packs your child’s lunch every day than this one’s for you. Swap out the lunchbox no-no’s with healthy alternatives. Instead of crackers and chips, try nuts. Some people think that salty snacks are good because they don’t contain sugar. However, salty snacks do contain simple starches, which are just as bad. With saliva, crackers and chips break down into a sticky goo, which coats the teeth and promotes decay. Replace sugary drinks like juice with milk or water. Offer crunchy snacks like celery, carrots, and cheese cubes.
