This month, we’re talking about every kid’s not-so-favorite time of year, back to school season! Even though your child may not be thrilled about going back to school, we are here to equip you with the necessary knowledge to keep your child’s mouth healthy!
1. Take your kids the dentist
Make sure your kids start off the year right by scheduling an exam for them. Treatments are the easiest ways to stop cavities before they start. And if your child does have a cavity, it’s best to address the problem as early as possible. Taking your child to the dentist can even improve your child’s performance at school. Studies have found that children who reported tooth aches were four times more likely to have a low GPA than those without tooth pain. And, based on recent surveys, one third of children miss school every year due to oral health problems. Keep them in school; take them to the dentist!
