These foods contain something very vital to the human body- folic acid (vitamin B9). Folic acid promotes a healthy mouth and supports cell growth cell, cell repair, and disease prevention throughout the body. Diet is the best way to get folic acid into your system. However, folic acid is a water-soluble food, meaning it won’t stay in your body for too long. Making sure to eat foods with folic acid everyday may be beneficial in the long run.
