Apples, carrots, and celery are among the best fruits and vegetables to aid in oral health. Apples are packed with fiber and water, which generates saliva to rinse away bacteria and food particles. Carrots, similar to apples, are full of fiber. While this increases saliva production, carrots are also packed with vitamin A. Vitamin A is key to keep your organs functioning properly. Celery, with its watery strings, acts kind of like a toothbrush in the sense that it aids in scraping food particles off your teeth during consumption.
